What is fatphobia? You can probably guess but what does it actually look like and where does it come from? Co-hosts Cat Polivoda and Saraya Boghani break down fatphobia and sizeism in this Matter of Fat Mini.  Matter of Fat is a body positive podcast with Midwest sensibilities. Full episodes highlight community voices with a focus on body size, body positivity, + fat liberation.

This minisode explores what fatphobia looks like today, the devilish roots in Protestantism and the Transatlantic slave trade, and how to acknowledge and work to unlearn such an insidious cultural facet.
